How to use your domain email account with Gmail.

Dec 15, 2021

Most people use an email client like Gmail or Outlook for their email use but once we get a website we should start using our domain email as our main email account, especially for businesses. It’s just more unprofessional to your website users when they’re not sending or receiving from a Gmail account.

Luckily Gmail enables you to add multiple email accounts to your single Gmail account. We’ll show you how you can easily add your website domain’s email address to your Gmail account.

Open your settings in your Gmail account

From the settings of your Gmail account, click on “Accounts and Import” and scroll down to “Add another email address“.

An info box will pop up asking you to enter some server information.

Add a new email address

Your SMTP Server can be found in your Cpanel under email accounts.

In your email accounts list in your Cpanel, select the email account required and click “Connect Devices“.

You will be redirected to a setup page for the account. Scroll down to the “Mail Client Manual Settings“.

Make sure to use your “Secure SSL/TLS Settings” not the “Non-SSL Settings

Enter the required information shown in your Cpanel mail settings in the Gmail setup form.

Click “Add Account

You’re done!

You can now send and receive emails with the new account using Gmail.
